VISION &
PRIORITIES

When residents feel safe, everything else becomes possible

01

PUBLIC

SAFETY

When residents feel safe, everything else becomes possible. A secure community opens doors to stronger neighborhoods, thriving businesses, and a higher quality of life for everyone. We are fortunate to have a proactive, dedicated police department committed to keeping our city safe. As a city council candidate, I will advocate for providing law enforcement with the resources they need for recruitment, crime prevention, and community engagement — ensuring a safer, more connected Sioux Falls for all.

02

RESPONSIBLE,

ORDERLY,

MANAGED GROWTH

I am committed to guiding Sioux Falls’ growth in a way that preserves the character of our historic districts, ensures infrastructure keeps pace, and balances economic development with the quality of life for all residents.

03

TRANSPARENCY

I am committed to open, honest, and accountable leadership. Sioux Falls residents deserve a city councilor who is accessible, listens to constituents, and makes decisions with integrity—keeping the community informed and engaged every step of the way.

04

BUILDING

BRIDGES

I'm committed to connecting different generations, bridging economic divides, and uniting all cultures and backgrounds for stronger and United Sioux falls

Principle Values

Born a refugee, the word hope carried my family and me across oceans. The day we learned we could come to the United States was one of the happiest of my life. From a young age, I was taught that family, hard work, a love of learning, and service to others are the keys to the American Dream. Those lessons are my foundation, and they guide me every day

Sioux Falls has been my home for the past 15 years. I know what it’s like to face poverty, yet this city has given me safety, quality schools, and countless opportunities. That is the Sioux Falls I want to protect—and the Sioux Falls I am committed to serving by giving back.

Compassionate Caregiver: As a nurse, my daily work is rooted in compassion, patience, and active listening. This experience has taught me the importance of understanding individual perspectives, building trust, and leading with empathy. I plan to bring that same approach to the city council—listening to our community, collaborating with colleagues, and making informed decisions that reflect the needs of every resident.

Forward-Thinking Leader

As a nonprofit founder and executive, committed volunteer, and community advocate, I am dedicated to lifting every voice in the Central District. I strive to create opportunities, and empower our residents to shape a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.
